Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was also a teammate and the team captain for 2012's Fierce Five as well as the team captain for the 2016 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold both on the team floor as well as the individual events. The bronze was won by the balance bar. In 2012, she became one of the few American athlete to earn the most medals at the Olympics. At the 2016 Olympics she took home a gold medal in the team event which brought her along with her teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having being one of the very first Americans to have two consecutive gold medals for the team. She also won silvers in individual all around and for floor work. The break was for three years between each Olympics from competing gymnastics. Additionally she was a part of two gold-winning American gymnastics squads. Aly began gymnastics lessons at the age of 2 and enjoys the floor workout. Aly gives to the Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity in memory of her deceased grandmother. Aly plans on pursuing an occupation as a designer. The next goal she has is growing her line of leotards. Fierce is a novel she plans to release later in the year.
